What You’ll Do: Roles & Responsibilities

M.O.R.E.

1. Existing Business Growth & Management (M.O.R.E.)

  • M - Maintaining Current Clients:

    Build, develop, and manage a stable client portfolio, maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • O - Obtaining & R - Recovering:

    Actively identify new business opportunities within your current portfolio and work to re-engage past clients.
  • E - Expanding:

    Generate consistent revenue growth from your existing client base by identifying and closing sales for new products or services.

2. New Business Development

  • Lead Generation & Outreach:

    Execute the full sales cycle, including generating leads, conducting targeted outreach, and engaging potential customers through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Value-Driven Selling:

    Present our complex technical products and services to clients, clearly articulating their value proposition to close sales and secure long-term business partnerships.
  • Collaboration:

    Work seamlessly with internal departments, including

    Marketing

    and

    Customer Support

    , to ensure client satisfaction and the flawless integration of client feedback.

3. Sales Operations & Market Intelligence

  • CRM Management:

    Keep accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, pipeline stages, and performance metrics in our CRM system, ensuring up-to-date and accessible information for the wider team.
  • Market Insight:

    Stay continuously informed on

    industry trends, product updates, and competitor activities

    to effectively position our products in the market and maintain a competitive edge.



Success Criteria

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

  • Achieve Sales Targets:

    Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, demonstrating the ability to drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Portfolio Health:

    Show a measurable increase in client portfolio size and retention rates, reflecting your ability to maintain and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Client Satisfaction:

    Deliver exceptional customer service, earning positive client feedback and reinforcing the company’s reputation as a reliable partner.
  • Operational Excellence:

    Actively contribute to team objectives and maintain accurate CRM records to ensure accessible and reliable information across departments.



Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred), Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    3-5 years

    of progressive experience in

    B2B technical sales, Key Account Management, or Business Development

    , ideally within the

    automotive, agriculture, heavy machinery, or precision component manufacturing

    industries.
  • Travel:

    Willingness to travel regionally & nationally, as required, to manage accounts and pursue new business opportunities.


Key Skills

  • Account Strategy:

    Proven ability to develop and execute

    strategic account plans

    to maximize revenue from existing clients (the M.O.R.E. concept).
  • New Business Acumen:

    Strong track record of successful

    lead generation

    , cold outreach, and closing new business in a complex, technical sales environment.
  • Negotiation & Persuasion:

    Exceptional skills in

    negotiation, pricing, and contract finalization

    to secure profitable, long-term business.
  • Communication:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex solutions, writing persuasive proposals, and maintaining professional client correspondence.
