Role Overview

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our key clients. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction, increasing client retention, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling our services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with assigned key accounts to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and quarterly business reviews with clients to understand their needs and identify areas for growth.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing accounts.
  • Proactively pitch additional services or solutions that align with the client’s business objectives.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop tailored proposals and presentations.
  • Understand the client’s industry, market trends, and competitive landscape to provide insights and add value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create account plans and strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Ensure alignment of service delivery with client expectations, timelines, and budgets.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and retention targets for assigned accounts.
  • Track and forecast key account metrics, including sales growth, profit margins, and customer satisfaction.
  • Address client issues or concerns promptly and ensure they are resolved effectively.
  • Work with internal teams to mitigate risks, manage escalations, and improve service delivery.



Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 6-10 years of experience in Key Account Management, client servicing, or sales, preferably in the IT/software industry.
  • Proven experience in managing enterprise-level clients and driving revenue growth.
  • Knowledge of IT services, software development life cycle (SDLC), and outsourcing models (dedicated team, fixed-cost, etc.).
  • Familiarity with tools like CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) and project management tools (JIRA, Asana) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • A consultative approach to client management with the ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on results.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or events.
