Position reports to : Shift Incharge (PLTCM) – Coated Products Positions peer with : Production Shift Incharge, Line Incharge & Unit Incharge & Mechanical, electrical Maintenance. Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators) Ensure liner marking, guard film. Coil winding & Sleeve used as per Production plan. Minimize scrap generation at Exit section. Maintenance of equipment’s healthiness at Entry & Exit section Exit Operator shall record the Output coil no in Exit Log book Critical Tasks Exit Operator shall set the video jet (Linear Marking) as per PPIC plan and maintain the video jet printing during running. Exit Operator shall cross check the Input coil number and other attributes as per PPIC plan from SAP system & Written plan. Exit Operator shall set the re-coiler tension as per the tension chart. Exit Operator & Associates shall check ID sleeve to be given as per product requirement. Before use of sleeve, cross check the width and type (metal/cardboard) of sleeve with PPIC plan. Exit Operator & Associates shall remove the damage / rejected material. Exit Operator shall verify the weighing m/c of C- hook with standard coil daily, at start of shift and record the reading in exit Std. coil register. Exit Operator shall take the weight of Output coil and record the Customer, weight, size and length & Remark of coil processed in exit log book. Exit Operator shall record the Output coil no in Exit Log book Exit Operator shall set the video jet (Linear Marking) as per PPIC plan and maintain the video jet printing during running. Exit Operator & Associates shall maintain the finish oven temps, quenching tanks levels. Also check cooling water spray and water splashing from the tanks. Exit operator check the oil level and pressure in exit hydraulic power pack and inform mech. maintenance if required. Exit Operator shall set the staggering as per PPIC plan. Exit Operator & Associates shall monitor and maintain the dryer temperature (50 ºC to 70 ºC) after water quenching tank. Exit operator check the pressure of press roll and adjust the guard film. Exit operator use guard film of proper size as per requirement. Exit operator use the guard film according to the gloss of top coated surface. Exit operator ready the stand by guard film roll in case any defect in running guard film roll. Decision Making Authority (Decisions Expected) Coordination with Production shift Incharge/Ass Shift Incharge. Understanding of planning. Ability to show positive approach. Consistence fulfilment of production requirement Educational Background And Work Experience Diploma in Mechanical with 2 – 8 years’ experience in large manufacturing industry preferably Steel (Downstream) Competencies; Understanding Communication Technical skilled Key Success Factors – Challenges To achieve Production without stoppage of line. Managing & Developing associates Training & awareness to subordinates Result oriented approach.
