Job Description

Maintenance Manager / In-Charge

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day maintenance activities of
Manual Rolling Mills
.
Ensure smooth running of mill stands, gear boxes, motors, pulleys, shears, guides, and auxiliary equipment.
Plan and execute
preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to rolling mill operations.
Coordinate with production and other departments for minimal downtime.
Maintain maintenance records, spares inventory, and AMC schedules.
Implement safety standards and ensure compliance during maintenance jobs.
Manage maintenance manpower and shift planning.
Vendor development and capability to handle emergency repair situations.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong working knowledge of
manual rolling mills
, hot rolling processes, and mill equipment.
Strong working knowledge of
SAP
.
Hands-on experience in maintenance of
gearboxes, motors, hydraulic systems, lubrication systems
, and mill stands.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and diagnose faults.
Experience in
mechanical & electrical troubleshooting
.
Knowledge of
maintenance planning tools
, spares management, and root cause analysis.
