About The Role
The React JS Technical Lead at TCS will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and leading front-end projects using React.js. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of modern front-end frameworks, capable of guiding a team of developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting complex UI components, ensuring best practices in coding standards, and optimizing application performance. As a leader, you will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Your expertise will also be instrumental in mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and implementing innovative approaches to improve development workflows. Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Proficiency in React.js, including Hooks, Functional Components, and Virtual DOM, is essential. Strong experience with state management libraries such as Redux and Context API is required. Familiarity with TypeScript, ES6+ JavaScript, and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Babel, Vite) is necessary. Candidates should have a solid understanding of component-driven architecture, performance optimization techniques, and responsive design principles. Experience with routing, data fetching, testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library, and CI/CD pipelines will be advantageous. Excellent communication, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of front-end architecture using React.js, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Design and develop reusable, efficient, and high-quality UI components aligned with project requirements.
- Mentor and guide a team of front-end developers, fostering best practices and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Implement state management solutions using Redux, Context API, and other patterns suitable for large-scale applications.
- Optimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and other best practices.
- Ensure adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG), cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design principles.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards across the team.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development.
- Participate in defining project timelines, estimations, and technical documentation.
