Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Generative AI Sales and Business Development Manager to drive significant revenue growth and market expansion for our innovative Generative AI solutions. This strategic role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities by showcasing the transformative power of AI to solve complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Generative AI landscape, exceptional communication skills to articulate advanced concepts, and a proven ability to build strong client relationships and achieve ambitious sales targets in a rapidly evolving market. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on sales execution, and a commitment to fostering long-term partnerships with clients eager to leverage next-generation AI.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and business development plans specifically tailored for Generative AI solutions, aligned with company goals and revenue targets.

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes within the Generative AI sector across various industries (e.g., content creation, design, data synthesis, simulation).
  • Define target markets, customer segments, and go-to-market strategies for our cutting-edge Generative AI offerings.


  • New Business Generation:

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new sales leads and opportunities by engaging with potential clients who can benefit from Generative AI capabilities.

  • Cultivate and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progress from lead generation to deal closure, particularly for complex, innovative AI projects.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery of AI application areas to proposal development, value-based negotiation, and contract finalization.


  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, including C-suite executives, innovation leads, and technical directors at prospective and existing client organizations.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, educating clients on the potential and practical applications of Generative AI, understanding their unique business challenges, and positioning our solutions as valuable strategic differentiators.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for account expansion, co-creation, and long-term partnerships in the Generative AI space.


  • Solution Selling & Presentation:

  • Gain a deep and current understanding of our Generative AI product and service portfolio (e.g., large language models, image generation, code generation, data augmentation, custom model development).

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify pain points and collaboratively design Generative AI solutions that address specific client requirements and yield measurable business outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, conceptual demonstrations (proof-of-concept focus), and technical proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex AI concepts into tangible business value.
  • Clearly articulate the unique value proposition, potential ROI, ethical considerations, and competitive advantages of our Generative AI offerings.


  • Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including AI researchers, data scientists, solution architects, marketing, and project management, to ensure seamless client engagement, accurate scoping, and successful delivery of Generative AI projects.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and regular activity reports to senior management, highlighting insights from the Generative AI market.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, compelling case studies of AI implementations, and sales tools that effectively communicate the power of Generative AI.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. An MBA or relevant certifications in AI/ML, cloud platforms, or project management are a strong plus.


  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years

    of progressive experience in IT sales, business development, or account management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Direct experience selling advanced technology solutions, ideally with exposure to AI/ML, data science, or complex software/platform sales.

  • Demonstrable experience selling complex IT solutions and services to mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Experience managing full sales cycles, from prospecting to closing, with large deal sizes.


  • Skills & Knowledge:

  • Extensive knowledge of Generative AI concepts, technologies, and applications

    (e.g., LLMs, GANs, VAEs, transformers, prompt engineering, ethical AI considerations).
  • Strong understanding of the current IT landscape, including key technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings (e.g., cloud platforms, SaaS, cybersecurity, AI/ML, data management).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a capacity to understand complex business problems and formulate innovative Generative AI solutions.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced and evolving technical environment.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver with a passion for cutting-edge technology.
