Job Summary:

The IT Executive will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and networks. This role ensures smooth IT operations, data security, and timely support to all employees while assisting in implementing new technologies and digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
  • Manage local servers, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
  • Ensure uninterrupted network connectivity and system uptime.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement, AMC, and warranty claims.

2. User Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware/software issues.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications.
  • Manage user accounts, email IDs, and access permissions.
  • Maintain helpdesk logs and ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets.

3. Data Security & Backup

  • Ensure antivirus and endpoint protection across all devices.
  • Perform regular data backups and maintain secure storage.
  • Support implementation of cybersecurity policies and best practices.
  • Monitor system usage and ensure compliance with IT security guidelines.

4. Software & Licensing Management

  • Keep track of all software licenses, renewals, and compliance.
  • Coordinate installation and updates for authorized software applications.

5. System Upgrades & Projects

  • Support IT infrastructure upgrades and digital transformation projects.
  • Assist in ERP, cloud, or system implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Suggest improvements for system performance and IT efficiency.

6. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain IT asset inventory, software license records, and configuration details.
  • Prepare regular reports on IT performance, issues, and resolutions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN setup, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Familiar with cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under minimal supervision.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Education:

    Diploma / BCA / B.Sc. (IT) / BE or B.Tech (IT/Computer Science)
  • Experience:

    2–5 years in IT support or system administration.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of ERP / CCTV / Biometric systems.
  • Basic understanding of data security and firewall configurations.
  • Experience with Active Directory and email management tools.
