Inside Telesales Executive
who understands industrial customers, speaks their language, and can articulate the value of advanced condition monitoring solutions.
Role Overview
The Inside Telesales Executive will play a key role in generating qualified leads, nurturing prospects, and driving conversions through outbound/inbound calling. This role requires
technical understanding
, comfort with industrial environments, and prior experience selling to manufacturing, HVAC, utilities, EPC, or similar industries.You will be the first point of contact for many prospects, and your job is to clearly communicate the benefits of our technology, understand customer pain points, and move them forward in the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Conduct outbound calls to manufacturing plants, OEMs, maintenance teams, and equipment owners.
- Follow up with inbound leads and convert them into qualified sales opportunities.
- Maintain high daily call volumes and meet outreach KPIs.
Needs Understanding & Technical Positioning
- Understand vibration monitoring, sensors, IoT devices, or factory operations (training provided).
- Communicate technical features and ROI of predictive maintenance in simple, value-driven terms.
- Identify customer pain points related to downtime, maintenance challenges, and monitoring gaps.
Pipeline Management
- Manage CRM entries with complete accuracy and follow daily outreach workflows.
- Nurture leads until they are ready for demo/closure by senior sales team.
- Coordinate with the product and engineering teams to clarify technical queries.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the sales manager to refine scripts, messaging, and targeting.
- Provide weekly reports on outreach, conversion rates, objections, and lead quality.
- Participate in ongoing skill and product training.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–4 years of inside sales/telesales experience in industries like:
- Industrial IoT
- Automation & Controls
- Condition Monitoring / Vibration Monitoring
- Industrial Equipment / MRO
- Manufacturing / Electrical/Mechanical Products
- Strong understanding of how factories operate, maintenance workflows, and asset reliability.
- Ability to understand and explain technical products (sensors, analytics, dashboards, IoT devices).
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
- Experience working with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
- High ownership and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred (Nice To Have)
- Experience selling to plant managers, maintenance heads, reliability engineers, or OEMs.
- Understanding of vibration analysis, condition monitoring tools, or CMMS software.
- Prior experience selling SaaS-based or subscription-based industrial products.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering is a plus.
