Human Resources Specialist

As an Operations Specialist at Outsized, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and compliant business operations in the Asia-Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East regions. Your responsibilities will include managing contracts, governance, documentation, and process improvements to support our fast-evolving talent marketplace. This hands-on role will require a focus on execution, problem-solving, and process optimization. You will be an individual contributor working towards enhancing operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will revolve around operational compliance and administration. This will involve drafting and processing contracts for independent consultants, clients, partners, and vendors. You will also be responsible for conducting background checks, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, managing global mobility tasks such as work visa applications and tax compliance, and organizing essential documentation for consultants, clients, and the company. In addition, you will be tasked with implementing and refining operational processes to enhance efficiency. This will include automating manual workflows to reduce administrative burdens, updating systems and records for accurate tracking and reporting, and continuously optimizing processes for better performance. In this role, you will directly report to the People & Ops Lead under the guidance of the COO. Ideal candidates for this position should have at least 1 year of work experience, with a background in HR and operations. You should thrive in a start-up environment, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership, adaptability, resourcefulness, and tenacity. Attention to detail, independent problem-solving skills, and a passion for disruptive talent models and the future of work are essential. Excellent command of written and verbal English, as well as strong stakeholder and project management skills, will be beneficial for success in this role.,
