We are looking for experienced Category Management Consultants to join an exciting, high-impact project with a global consulting firm. The end client is a leading quick commerce platform in India , undergoing a major transformation to scale its category performance and optimize operations. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience with category strategy in e-commerce or quick commerce environments and enjoy working cross-functionally to drive business outcomes. If you've worked with platforms like Amazon, Zepto, Blinkit, or Swiggy Instamart — this opportunity is for you. Please note: This is a live role requiring on-site presence in Kolkata (Monday–Friday) on a contractual basis (6 months, extendable) . Travel and accommodation will be covered as per the consulting travel model. Role & Responsibilities: Own and drive the category management strategy , including assortment planning, pricing, and promotional design. Leverage ads and performance marketing experience to improve product visibility and conversions across platforms. Use data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth across e-commerce and quick commerce channels. Liaise with platform partners (e.g., Amazon, Zepto, Instamart ) to implement joint business plans and advertising campaigns . Conduct deep-dive analyses on category performance and consumer behavior to inform decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across supply chain, sales, and marketing to ensure aligned execution. Skills & Qualifications: 5–8 years of experience in category management , e-commerce , quick commerce , or ads/performance marketing roles. Prior experience with platforms like Amazon, Zepto, Blinkit, or Swiggy Instamart is essential. Strong understanding of platform algorithms , promotional tools, and levers to grow category share. Proven ability to work with both internal teams and external platform stakeholders to drive commercial results. Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills. Consulting experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
