As a Senior in the Business Consulting - SC&O (Supply Chain & Operations) team at EY-GDS, you will have the opportunity to leverage your 3-7 years of experience and strong consulting background to drive procurement excellence and optimize spend across diverse categories. Your role will involve developing and executing category strategies, conducting market intelligence, and utilizing AI-driven tools to enhance decision-making in strategic sourcing. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing category strategies for direct and indirect spend to achieve cost savings and supplier performance improvements. - Leading RFP/RFQ processes, conducting market intelligence, and benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities. - Establishing governance frameworks for category ownership and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business objectives. - Monitoring category performance using KPIs and utilizing should-cost models for informed negotiations and cost reduction strategies. - Performing detailed spend analysis, building cost models, and identifying cost-saving opportunities through various sourcing levers. - Tracking savings realization, forecasting spend trends, and automating spend reporting for real-time visibility. To qualify for this role, you must have a Masters degree in business administration or supply chain & Operations from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 institute, along with demonstrated experience in leading cost-saving initiatives and strategic sourcing. Consulting experience in spend analysis, category management, and governance frameworks is preferred, as well as familiarity with market intelligence tools and supplier performance management frameworks. Travel up to 30% is expected as per project requirements.
