Job Description

Human Resource Associate – Nestology

Nestology is on a mission to make early parenting (0–3 years) simpler, calmer, and more confident for families. As a Human Resource Associate, you will help build and support the people systems that enable our team to deliver this impact every day.

About Nestology

Nestology is a young, growing company focused on empowering parents of infants and toddlers through expert-led guidance, practical tools, and a warm, supportive community. We are building a high-trust, high-ownership culture where every team member’s work directly shapes families’ day-to-day lives.

Role overview

As a Human Resource Associate, you will support the full employee lifecycle and ensure a smooth, people-first experience across hiring, onboarding, engagement, and operations.

Key focus areas include:

  • Coordinating end-to-end recruitment for multiple roles.
  • Owning HR operations and documentation with strong attention to detail.
  • Supporting employee engagement, feedback, and performance processes.
  • Acting as a reliable, approachable point of contact for team members.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate hiring activities: post job descriptions, screen applications, schedule interviews, and manage candidate communication.
  • Assist in building and maintaining an organized candidate database and simple hiring reports.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, introductions, orientation, and basic HR systems setup.
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in an accurate and confidential manner.
  • Help roll out HR policies, internal communications, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance/leave data, and basic compliance-related information with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support performance review cycles by tracking timelines, sharing forms, and collecting feedback.
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, check-ins, and surveys.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; HR or related specialization is an advantage.
  • 1–5 years of experience in an HR, People Operations, or admin/coordination role (internships included), preferably in a startup or small, fast-paced team.
  • Strong communication skills in English; clarity, warmth, and professionalism in written and verbal interactions.
  • High ownership, reliability, and comfort managing multiple tasks and stakeholders at once.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and follow-ups.
  • Comfort working with basic HR tools, spreadsheets, and collaboration platforms (email, video calls, etc.).
  • A people-centric mindset, discretion with sensitive information, and alignment with Nestology’s mission and values.

What you will gain

  • Exposure to building HR processes and culture in an early-stage, mission-driven company.
  • Close collaboration with founders and core team members across functions.
  • Opportunity to grow into broader HR, People Operations, or Talent roles as the company scales.
  • A work environment that values empathy, learning, and continuous improvement.
