Job Title: HR Manager – Manufacturing Plant (Paper Industry)Location: Near Ropar, Punjab Industry: Paper Manufacturing Experience Required: 12+ years in Manufacturing (Paper industry preferred) Salary Range: ₹15–20 LPAAbout the Company:We are a reputed name in the paper manufacturing sector, with a strong legacy of quality, sustainability, and operational excellence. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a seasoned HR professional to lead and manage all human resource functions at our plant near Ropar, Punjab.Key Responsibilities:HR Strategy & Leadership: Drive and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals to support the manufacturing plant’s growth and performance.Talent Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and talent development to ensure availability of skilled manpower.Industrial Relations: Manage union relationships, handle labor issues, and ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to maintain a motivated and productive workforce.Performance Management: Oversee goal setting, performance reviews, and continuous feedback processes.Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and implement training programs for upskilling the workforce, especially for shop-floor and technical roles.Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to all HR and labor laws, and manage internal and external HR audits.HR Operations: Manage payroll, attendance systems, HRMS, employee records, and grievance redressal.Key Requirements:Experience: Minimum 12 years of HR experience in a manufacturing setup; candidates with experience in the paper industry will be given preference.Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a recognized institute.Skills:Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory complianceProven experience in handling industrial relations and unionsExcellent interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and lead a plant-level HR functionFamiliarity with HRMS and modern HR toolsPreferred Candidate Profile:Experience in a plant-based HR role is a must.Exposure to paper or process industries will be considered an added advantage.Compensation:₹15 to ₹20 LPA (commensurate with experience and fitment)
