Job Title: Senior Merchandiser (Home Textiles) Reporting to: Director Industry: Home Textile Fabrics (Upholstery, Drapery, and Outdoor Fabrics) Location : Bhiwandi, Mumbai About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Merchandiser to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between design, production, and sales, ensuring our woven dobby home furnishing fabrics meet market demands and client expectations across India, North America, the UK, and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional with a strong understanding of textile product development, market trends, and client coordination within the home textile industry. Key Responsibilities • Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting: Analyze market trends in dobby design, colorways, and fibers to guide product development. • Product Development Support: Collaborate with design and production teams to translate market insights into new fabric collections. Gather and incorporate client insights to support new product development. • Collection Planning & Presentation: Assist in planning and managing budgets for product development. Prepare and present fabric collections to sales teams and key clients. • Client Coordination & Relationship Management: Liaise with agents and customers to understand their specific needs and ensure product alignment. Support sales efforts by providing product information and samples. • Order Management & Follow-up: Monitor order progress from sampling to dispatch, ensuring timely delivery and quality adherence. • Competitive Analysis: Track competitor activities and product offerings to identify market opportunities and gaps. • Reporting: Provide weekly reports to the management team on product performance, market insights, and development progress. Qualificationss and Experience Education: BA/BCOM/BSc in Business Administration, Textiles, or Ma rketing. Experience : 5+ in merchandising, product development, or a related role within the home textile industry. Preferred Industry: Candidates with experience in home textile companies are strongly preferred. Show more Show less
