Job SummaryThe HR Manager is responsible for managing the overall human resource functions of the organization, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, statutory compliance, training & development, HR operations, and organizational culture. The role ensures smooth HR processes that support business objectives and promote a positive workplace environment. Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & StaffingDevelop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates. Manage end-to-end hiring process (sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding). Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and job requirements. 2. Employee RelationsMaintain healthy employer–employee relationships. Address grievances, conduct counseling sessions, and ensure conflict resolution. Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work culture. 3. HR OperationsMaintain and update employee records, HRMIS, and documentation. Oversee attendance, leave management, and employee lifecycle processes. Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management review. 4. Performance ManagementImplement and monitor performance appraisal systems (monthly, quarterly, yearly). Support managers in setting KPIs and conducting reviews. Identify and manage performance improvement plans. 5. Training & DevelopmentAssess training needs and design employee development programs. Organize training sessions, workshops, and skill-enhancement initiatives. Track training effectiveness and maintain records. 6. Statutory ComplianceEnsure compliance with labor laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, minimum wages, and other statutory requirements. Maintain regulatory documentation and handle audits/inspections. 7. Payroll CoordinationCoordinate with accounts/finance for payroll processing and salary inputs. Ensure accuracy of wages, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements. 8. HR Policies & StrategyDevelop and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook. Support management in strategic planning and organizational development. Drive initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and culture building. Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and HR management systems. Leadership ability with a proactive mindset. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 4–8 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
