As an HR Manager at Nap Chief, a fast-growing D2C kids wear brand based in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the HR team to ensure clear ownership across hiring, onboarding, and engagement. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing performance management cycles, reviews, and feedback loops, developing and updating HR policies balancing people empathy with operational efficiency, handling conflict resolution diplomatically, and mediating across teams. You will also be instrumental in building a transparent, values-driven culture aligned with Nap Chief's mission, creating training and development programs, mentorship systems, and skill trackers, managing employee records, attendance, compensation, and compliance documentation, and partnering with department heads for talent needs and workforce planning. Additionally, you will drive retention through proactive engagement and recognition initiatives and track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, cost-per-hire, and engagement insights. The ideal candidate for this role should have 3-5 years of experience in HR management or a similar leadership role, possess strong people management, empathy, and diplomacy skills, be experienced with performance and goal-setting systems such as OKRs/KPIs, have expertise in interviewing, evaluation, and recruitment frameworks, be proficient in Asana or HRMS tools, demonstrate excellent communication, discretion, and problem-solving abilities, exhibit a process-oriented mindset with analytical decision-making skills, and showcase adaptability, proactivity, and strong organizational planning skills.
