Job Summary: The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing daily human resources operations, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, payroll coordination, compliance, and office administration. The ideal candidate should have experience working in professional services firms and be well-versed in labor laws applicable in India, especially in Punjab. Key Responsibilities:Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in identifying staffing needs and manage end-to-end recruitment for articles, accountants, and other relevent recruitments. Conduct screening, interviews, and coordinate with department heads for hiring. Manage onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new hires. Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns. Organize team-building activities, workshops, and internal communication. Support employee well-being and engagement initiatives. Performance Management: Coordinate performance appraisals and feedback processes. Maintain employee records. Payroll & Attendance: Work with finance to ensure timely payroll processing. Track attendance, leaves, and maintain HRMS records. Compliance & Policy Management: Draft and update HR policies, manuals, and SOPs in line with firm practices and legal standards. Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs for employees and articled assistants. General Administration: Oversee office administration tasks related to HR. Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 1–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in professional services or accounting/consulting firms. Knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices( optional ). Proficiency in MS Office. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English, Hindi, and Punjabi preferred.
