We’re looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Generalist to join our team and contribute to our dynamic, guest-first work environment.

Role Overview

The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing daily HR operations across Orion’s hotel units, ensuring smooth implementation of HR policies, employee engagement activities, and compliance requirements. This role requires hands-on experience in people management, recruitment, statutory compliance, and employee communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and exit formalities.
  • Coordinate with property HR and department heads to ensure manpower requirements are met timely.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws, PF, ESIC, and other statutory obligations.
  • Drive employee engagement programs and welfare initiatives across hotel units.
  • Maintain and update HR documentation—attendance, leaves, training records, and personal files.
  • Support payroll inputs, manage attendance tracking systems, and ensure timely coordination with accounts.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and maintain healthy employee relations.
  • Implement training programs and assist in talent development initiatives.
  • Assist corporate HR in standardizing HR processes and implementing group-level policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of HR experience (hospitality industry experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HR software, and attendance management systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple properties.
