Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned HR Generalist with 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience, preferably supporting engineering functions. The candidate will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of HR operations, driving strategic HR initiatives aligned with business goals, and fostering a productive and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for engineering and other business units including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand skill requirements and business needs.
  • Manage onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Handle conflict resolution and employee grievance processes promptly and fairly.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.

Performance Management

  • Facilitate performance appraisal cycles, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Support managers in setting performance expectations and developing improvement plans.
  • Drive succession planning and talent development initiatives.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate training programs and career development activities to upskill employees.
  • Identify skills gaps and recommend relevant learning interventions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage compensation review and benefits administration in line with company policies and market standards.
  • Collaborate with finance and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement.

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal HR policies.
  • Update HR policies and communicate changes effectively to all employees.
  • Conduct audits and maintain proper documentation for HR processes.

HR Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain and update employee records, HRIS systems, and generate management reports.
  • Support organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and change management activities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Engineering background preferred.
  • Proven experience (12–15 years) as HR Generalist, with exposure to engineering or technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficient in HRIS and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with integrity and confidentiality.
