Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Coimbatore / Gummidipoondi
Industry: Manufacturing (Process / Industrial / Engineering preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager with strong exposure to the manufacturing industry to manage end-to-end HR operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PMS, KPI/KRA management, HRMS implementation, and labour & compliance management, with the ability to work closely with plant operations and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & PMS Management

  • Manage and administer Performance Management System (PMS) across departments.
  • Design, implement, and monitor KPIs/KRAs for departments and individual employees.
  • Ensure timely collection, review, and reporting of performance data.
  • Coordinate with department heads for performance reviews and appraisals.

2. HRMS Implementation & Data Management

  • Lead or support HRMS implementation (Zoho HR, SAP HR, or similar platforms).
  • Maintain and manage employee data, performance records, attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and reports within HRMS.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and regular system updates.
  • Act as the HRMS administrator and coordinate with vendors for system enhancements.

3. Labour & Contractor Management

  • Handle shop-floor labour, contract workforce, and manpower planning.
  • Manage contractor onboarding, documentation, attendance, and compliance.
  • Address labour issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions in coordination with management.

4. Statutory & Compliance Management

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements, including:
  • PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity
  • Factory Act, Contract Labour Act
  • Shops & Establishment Act (where applicable)
  • Coordinate audits, inspections, and statutory filings.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and records.

5. Reporting & HR Analytics

  • Prepare and submit regular HR reports to management.
  • Track workforce metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, productivity, and performance trends.
  • Support management decision-making through data-driven HR insights.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR or equivalent
  • Experience:
  • 8–12 years of HR experience, mandatory exposure to manufacturing/plant environment
  • Proven experience in PMS, KPI/KRA frameworks, and HRMS tools
  • HRMS Knowledge: Zoho HR, SAP HR, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance
  • Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working with plant teams and shop-floor operations

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in multi-location or plant-based HR operations
  • Hands-on experience in HR process automation
  • Ability to work independently and handle audits and inspections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,143.27 - ₹50,818.18 per month
