Job Title: Warehouse & Inventory Manager – Plastic Granules Manufacturing

Location: Gummidipoondi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 5 years in warehouse/gudown management within plastics or related manufacturing industries

Leading manufacturer in the plastic granules industry, specializing in PPCP, HDPE, ABS granules, and regrinds looking for a skilled Warehouse & Inventory Manager to join the dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee gudown and warehouse operations ensuring efficient and safe stacking and storage of raw materials (PPCP, HDPE, ABS granules, regrinds) and finished goods.
  • Implement and maintain proper storage protocols to prevent contamination, damage, and safety hazards.
  • Ensure rejected materials are clearly segregated and stored separately, and recycling materials are kept apart as per the warehouse layout.
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain up-to-date stock records with accuracy, utilizing RFID and barcode systems.
  • Utilize ERP and advanced inventory management software to track, record, and analyze stock movement efficiently.
  • Develop and implement warehouse layout plans for optimized space utilization and easy access.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of materials.
  • Maintain strong Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards to ensure the warehouse and unit are neat, clean, and hazard-free.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and stock verification.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse processes.
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff to maintain operational excellence.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of stock movement, damages, losses, and other discrepancies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing gudown/warehouse operations in plastic manufacturing or a closely related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PPCP, HDPE, ABS granules, and regrind materials.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
  • Experience with RFID and barcode inventory management systems.
  • Good understanding of EHS principles with a track record of maintaining safe and clean work environments.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to implement safety standards and maintain a hazard-free environment.
  • Proficient with inventory software and MS Office tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,741.47 - ₹29,250.79 per month
