Job Description

Role Summary

The HR Manager will lead the HR function for the company, driving talent acquisition, performance management, training & development, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to partner with business heads across factory, site, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to anticipate manpower requirements and workforce planning.
  • Lead HR audits, people analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment across factory, site, sales, technical, design, and corporate roles.
  • Build strong talent pipelines and manage recruitment vendors.
  • Standardise JD formats, hiring processes, and interviewer guidelines.

3. Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage onboarding, induction, confirmation, and exit processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of employment letters and documentation.
  • Maintain employee records, HRMS, and HR dashboards.

4. Performance Management

  • Drive the annual performance appraisal cycle, goal-setting, and KPI alignment.
  • Work with HODs to implement performance improvement plans (PIPs).
  • Develop frameworks linking performance with increments, promotions, and rewards.

5. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
  • Conduct regular employee engagement activities, feedback surveys, and communication forums.
  • Strengthen company culture and ensure alignment with company values.

6. Learning & Development

  • Assess training needs across departments and plan annual training calendars.
  • Coordinate technical, behavioural, and compliance-related trainings.
  • Track training outcomes and employee development progress.

7. Compensation & Benefits

  • Support payroll processing, statutory deductions, and benefits administration.
  • Benchmark compensation and ensure internal parity and external competitiveness.
  • Implement incentive structures, attendance policies, and leave management norms.

8. Compliance & Statutory Management

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws (Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, CLRA, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Maternity Benefits, etc.).
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
  • Maintain HR-related documentation, registers, and reports.

9. HR Operations Excellence

  • Establish SOPs for HR processes across factory, sites, and corporate.
  • Drive digitalisation and automation of HR workflows.
  • Prepare and present monthly HR reports, metrics, and dashboards to management.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, labour law, and HR operations.
  • Ability to handle workforce across levels—from factory labour to senior corporate staff.
  • High emotional intelligence, problem-solving ability, and conflict management.
  • Proficiency with HRMS, Excel, recruitment tools, and data-driven reporting.

Qualification & Experience

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or construction-related industries is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
