What will you be doing in this role?

  • Partner with Client group leaders to understand current and future skill and capability needs.
  • Partner with the client group and HR Leadership to identify the deliverables/objectives of key people initiatives
  • Anchor HR Processes such as Merit reviews, Promotion Assessments, Market Benchmarking, Talent management and action plans resulting from Engagement surveys.
  • Regularly Conduct Skip Level meetings, Engagement connects at different levels of the organization and support People leads in their annual action planning with agreed follow up rhythm.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to Team Leads, Managers & Directors that will enable them to be more successful as they lead & guide their teams
  • Work with Client group Managers & Country HR Leader on retention strategies for key talent.
  • Utilize Talent analytics to identify trends and develop insights that feed into the Client group talent strategy
  • Liaise with Allegion India Talent Acquisition team to define optimum ways of finding the right talent for the client groups.
  • Partner with the Talent & Engagement Manager to deliver the agreed Talent Development agenda covering Coaching, development & retention of high-potential, diverse talent for the client group teams in India.
  • Partner with HR Operations team to ensure delivery on HR transactional / process requirements including maintain People Data Accuracy in Allegion’s HRMS and other Tools & Systems.
  • Partner with Country HR Leader & Talent teams in managing critical role succession planning, leadership development and workforce planning
  • Advise and act on any performance or employee relations issues at all levels of the organization.
  • You may also get opportunities from time to time to lead / participate in cross-functional / company-wide assignments

What you need to succeed?

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, with 6 - 8 years of solid HR experience with exposure to HR Business partner role
  • Not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done.
  • A strategic thinker and creative problem solver who takes initiative and ownership
  • Strong analytical skills, including natural affinity to slice & dice data and make meaningful analysis of the same.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams
  • Experience of working cross functionally within all specialist HR functions with demonstrated collaboration & teamwork
  • Must be able to work at all levels of the HR “stack” – Strategic, operational, and tactical
  • Ability to set high personal goals and work independently
  • An open mindset, ability to challenge the status quo if required and willingness to unlearn, relearn and learn.
