Job Description

Job Summary

The HR Admin cum HR Generalist will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR administration and supporting core HR functions. You will ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations, maintain compliance with statutory regulations, and partner with business leaders to drive employee engagement, recruitment, performance management, and learning initiatives.

1. HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (personal details, attendance, leaves, benefits)
  • Process joining, onboarding, exits and exit interviews; prepare offer letters, appointment letters, relieving letters
  • Assist in payroll coordination (attendance data, reimbursements, statutory payments)
  • Manage statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS) and liaison with external consultants
  • Oversee office administration: visitor management, asset allocation, inventory of stationery and office supplies

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to draft job descriptions, source candidates, schedule interviews
  • Screen resumes, conduct preliminary telephonic/virtual interviews
  • Coordinate interview process and follow-up with candidates on offers and pre-onboarding formalities

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as point-of-contact for employee queries on policies, benefits, leave, etc.
  • Support engagement initiatives (town-halls, team-building activities, wellness programs)
  • Track and analyze attrition, exit feedback, suggest retention strategies

4. Performance Management & Learning

  • Facilitate performance appraisal cycles: timelines, documentation, calibration meetings
  • Coordinate training needs analysis, organize workshops, maintain training calendar
  • Monitor learning budgets and measure training effectiveness

5. Policy Implementation & Documentation

  • Draft and update HR policies, employee handbook and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure communication and consistent application of policies across the organization

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field
  • Experience: 2–4 years in HR administration and generalist role, preferably in IT/Software industry

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with HRIS and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs)
  • Familiarity with statutory compliance and labor laws in India
  • Knowledge of AI (ChatGPT, Claude)

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Proactive problem-solver and team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,210.63 - ₹40,815.58 per month
