Role Overview

Field Head – India

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Operations Management

• Lead, plan, and supervise all India-level fieldwork for quantitative and qualitative studies.
• Ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-efficient data collection in alignment with client and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project management, research, and data processing teams for seamless execution.
• Monitor productivity and performance of regional field teams and ensure adherence to company SOPs.

2. Business Development & Client Retention

• Partner with the business development and client servicing teams to

  prepare proposals, quotes, and feasibility reports

  .
• Participate in

  client meetings and pitches

  to provide field and operational insights.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure

  repeat business and retention

  .
• Identify new business opportunities within existing and new client bases.
• Contribute to

  strategic planning

  and

  revenue growth

  by optimizing field resources and pricing.

3. Costing, Quotations & Feasibility

• Prepare detailed

  cost estimates

  and assess project feasibility for diverse research methodologies.
• Optimize resource utilization to maintain profitability while ensuring quality.
• Review and approve vendor quotations, budgets, and fieldwork plans.

4. Team Leadership & Vendor Management

• Lead and mentor field managers, supervisors, and regional leads across India.
• Develop training programs to strengthen interviewer and supervisor skills.
• Build and manage a strong network of

  reliable field vendors and partners

  across locations.
• Negotiate and maintain partnerships ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to quality standards.

5. Quality Control & Compliance

• Oversee implementation of quality assurance checks during and after data collection.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, client protocols, and data protection policies.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and adopt new field technologies or tools to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred).

• 18+ years

  of experience in market research field operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven experience in

  client engagement, business growth, and operational excellence

  .
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-location projects across diverse sectors.
