To learn more, visit www.bluestone.com Role: Head of Learning & Development(L&D)- Retail Role Objective: The role focuses on Improving Customer Experience on the shop floor through driving strategic learning initiatives across the retail network with key responsibilities including the management of regional trainers, implementation of train-the-trainer programs, and delivery of structured learning in customer service, soft skills, and product knowledge. It also involves leading the creation and execution of digital and video-based training content, ensuring alignment with regional teams, and enabling consistent, high-impact learning across all store formats. Reporting to: Chief Retail Officer Location: Mumbai (On-site) Key Responsibilities & KPIs: - Ensure delivery of high-impact training focused on customer experience, behavioral competencies, and soft skills to improve customer experience. - Lead and manage a team of regional and zonal trainers to ensure consistent and timely training delivery across the retail network. - Design and roll out scalable Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs to standardize training quality and effectiveness. - Develop and manage engaging video-based learning content and digital training assets to support blended learning approaches. - Drive product and collection-based training linked to brand campaigns and sales initiatives to enhance in-store execution. - Launch and monitor capability development programs for frontline staff, store managers, and high-potential team members. - Collaborate with ABMs, RMs, and regional teams to ensure consistent implementation and adoption of training programs. - Measure training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and store-level outcomes, and make iterative improvements. - Identify and address store-level skill gaps through tailored interventions and ongoing learning support. - Promote a culture of continuous learning through digital tools, gamified modules, and on-the-job learning formats. Key Traits: - Strong execution mindset with a hands-on approach - Excellent communication and facilitation skills - High emotional intelligence and people-development orientation - Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management - Passion for retail excellence and frontline capability building Required Experience: - 5-10 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in Retail, lifestyle, or luxury brands - Proven ability to manage geographically dispersed training team - Experience in designing and implementing digital learning, video content, and product training - Strong understanding of retail dynamics, customer service, and store operations
