Job Summary

Head of Finance

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with company goals.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team.
• Provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions and new initiatives.
• Contribute to business model innovation and sustainable growth planning.

Financial Management

• Lead all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Build and manage financial models for business planning, unit economics, and scenario analysis.
• Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Manage audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.

Team & Systems Development

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Optimize financial processes and implement scalable financial systems and tools.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, marketing, tech) to align financial processes with company needs.

Investor & Stakeholder Management

• Prepare investor reports and presentations; support ongoing fundraising efforts (equity and/or debt).
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and external partners.
• Lead due diligence processes during fundraising and M&A activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Only CA preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Experience in high-growth startups, co-living/real estate, or hospitality sectors is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of financial planning, modeling, and analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
