Role Description
Graphic Designer
lives and breathes design
conceptualizing, writing, and designing
- Write sharp, persuasive
marketing copy
- Translate ideas into

for social & digital - Collaborate with marketing, growth, and product teams to bring campaigns to life

Key Responsibilities:
Creative & Design
- Conceptualize and design
digital marketing creatives
: social media posts, ad banners, carousels, landing page assets, email graphics, website visuals, presentations, and more. - Develop and maintain
brand identity systems
: brand kit, typography, color systems, icon sets, visual guidelines, and design libraries. - Own end-to-end design process: from
brief → concept → copy → design → final delivery
. - Create
motion graphics
: animated social posts, reels/TikTok style content, explainer animations, ad motion graphics, UI/UX motion mockups, etc. - Design creatives optimized for
performance marketing
(CTR, conversions, engagement) with A/B variations.
AI-First Design & Automation
Experienced in using AI-based design and image tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, etc.) to:
- Generate concepts, visual directions, and moods
- Produce and iterate on visual elements and backgrounds
- Speed up experimentation and versioning
AI productivity tools
- Draft and refine marketing copy variants
- Brainstorm campaign ideas and headlines
- Assist with research and content structuring
- Explore and implement
AI-assisted workflows
in: - Photoshop (e.g., generative fill, smart object workflows)
- Illustrator / vector tools
- Video & motion tools (e.g., AI masking, auto-captioning, AI-powered editing)
- Stay up-to-date with
new AI features and tools
, and actively bring recommendations for improving Flywheelr’s creative workflow.
Copywriting & Creative Strategy
clear, engaging, and conversion-focused copy
- Social media posts & ad creatives, static & motion graphics
- Landing page sections (hero messages, CTAs, feature highlights)
- Understand marketing goals & customer psychology and reflect that in
both copy and visuals
. - Work with marketing/growth teams to translate
campaign briefs into creative concepts
and explain your creative rationale.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
Core Design Skills
- Strong foundation in
visual design principles
: typography, layout, hierarchy, color theory, grid systems, composition, and negative space. - Proven ability to design
clean, modern, and on-brand
creatives for digital platforms. - Ability to take a concept from
rough idea to polished final output
with minimal supervision. - Excellent
attention to detail
and obsession with quality.
Toolset & Software (You should be fluent, not just familiar):
Adobe Creative Cloud

(advanced level – retouching, compositing, mockups, generative features, automation)Illustrator

- Copy tailored to specific channels (Meta ads vs LinkedIn vs Instagram vs landing pages)
- Understanding of
basic marketing & growth concepts
: - Funnels, audiences, positioning, value proposition, and brand tone of voice
- What makes a creative “scroll-stopping” and “click-worthy”
Nice-to-Have (But Big Plus)
- Experience in
video editing
: Cutting & stitching footage, adding overlays, transitions, simple animations. Editing short-form content (Reels/YouTube Shorts/TikTok) - Experience designing for
B2B or SaaS brands
