Role Description

on-ground, in-office, 0→1 startup video role

this is your place.

You’ll work on exciting new assets every alternate day and create visually compelling content that drives attention, engagement, and conversions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Edit

  long-form, short-form, and podcast videos

  , including:
• YouTube videos | YouTube Shorts | Instagram Reels | LinkedIn-style vertical videos | Ads and product explainer videos
• Get scripts and briefs from content writers and transform them into powerful video stories
• Develop a full understanding of each product to

  source, curate, and assemble the right clips

• Conduct research to understand

  market trends, editing styles, and competitor content

• Create

  high-click-through thumbnails

  with strong visual hooks
• Add

  captions, graphics, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and music

  as needed
• Maintain detail and accuracy in captions/subtitles, pacing, and continuity
• Use AI-assisted editing tools for: Automated Speech-to-text & Captioning | Noise reduction | Auto-masking / audio enhancement/ object tracking/ scene detection | AI upscaling, rotoscoping, and auto-masking
• Deliver multiple edits on tight deadlines without compromising quality

Software & Tools You Should Know

• Video Editing:

  Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve

• Motion Graphics & VFX:

  Adobe After Effects, plug-ins (Red Giant, Motion Bro, etc.)

• Thumbnail & Design:

  Photoshop / Figma / Canva

• AI Tools (preferred):

  Descript, Runway, Topaz, Auto-Captions, and similar platforms

• Bonus:

  Blender / Design tools

• AI-powered post-production tools
