General Manager

As the General Manager at Toshali Royal View Resort, Shimla, you will play a crucial role in leading the overall operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient operational management, strong revenue growth, and a positive work culture. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing day-to-day operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, Engineering, and Admin to ensure smooth functioning with high service standards. Implementing SOPs and maintaining compliance with brand and industry standards. - Ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, handling VIP guests, monitoring online reviews, and maintaining resort ambience, cleanliness, and hygiene standards. - Collaborating with Sales & Marketing teams to drive occupancy, ARR, and overall revenue. Monitoring forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategies to maximize profit. - Preparing and monitoring budgets, controlling costs, reviewing financial reports, and implementing cost-control measures. Ensuring efficient procurement and vendor management. - Leading, training, motivating, and mentoring department heads and staff to foster a positive and disciplined work culture. Identifying staffing needs, coordinating with HR for recruitment and training, and ensuring performance management. - Ensuring compliance with statutory, legal, and audit requirements. Overseeing property maintenance, safety, and preventive maintenance programs. Ensuring compliance with fire safety, FSSAI, hygiene, and environmental standards. - Providing regular updates to Management on resort operations, revenue, and challenges. Implementing management decisions and maintaining transparent communication. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management. - 10-15 years of progressive experience in hospitality operations. - Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. - Expertise in resort operations, guest service, and financial management. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on guest satisfaction.,
