Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day
operations of Medical College Hospital and Research Centre. The General
Manager will ensure smooth coordination between departments, uphold regulatory
compliance, support academic and healthcare excellence, and maintain a high standard of
patient care and student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Operational Management:
● Oversee day-to-day operations of both college and hospital.
● Supervise non-medical staff, department heads, and administrative personnel.
● Ensure adherence to institutional policies, quality standards, and compliance
requirements.
● Coordinate with faculty, medical professionals, and management to ensure
institutional goals are met.
Academic Coordination:
● Support the academic calendar by coordinating with the Principal and academic
departments.
● Monitor the smooth functioning of lectures, student schedules, examinations, and
internships.
● Help streamline admission processes, academic audits, and university
communications.
Hospital Operations:
● Monitor patient care services, including OPD/IPD operations, pharmacy, therapy
units, and diagnostic services.
● Ensure seamless integration of Ayurvedic treatment practices with modern patient
care standards.
● Work closely with the Medical Director and Head Doctors for quality control and
feedback.
HR & Staff Management:
● Handle recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and performance evaluations of
non-clinical staff.
● Ensure professional development and training opportunities are provided across
departments.
● Resolve grievances and promote a healthy workplace culture.
Finance & Resource Management:
● Oversee budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.
● Ensure timely billing, fee collection, and cost-effective utilization of hospital and
college resources.
● Coordinate with the accounts department for monthly reporting and audits.
Infrastructure & Facilities:
● Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of campus infrastructure.
● Oversee AMC contracts, maintenance schedules, security, and transport facilities.
Regulatory & Compliance:
● Ensure the institution complies with AYUSH, CCIM/National Commission for Indian
System of Medicine (NCISM), RGUHS, NABH, and other regulatory bodies.
● Manage documentation, licensing, and periodic inspections.
Liaison & Representation:
● Act as the point of contact for government agencies, university officials, healthcare
partners, and stakeholders.
● Represent the institution in meetings, events, and official communications.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business
Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
● Minimum 10 years of experience in hospital/medical college administration or
healthcare operations.
● Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
● Familiarity with Ayurvedic systems and regulatory bodies is an added advantage.
● Proficiency in English and Kannada (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
