.NET Core Developer
with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft .NET Core (v6–8), C#, SQL Server, and front-end technologies including Angular. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade Windows and web applications, with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability.This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can contribute across the SDLC—from requirements analysis and design to coding, testing, deployment, and support—while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Design and develop UI/logic and rich user experiences that follow web standards.
- Develop front-end components and user interfaces using Angular.
- Implement responsive designs for various devices and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with the application.
- Write Low-Level Designs (LLD), Unit Testing Plans, and Unit Test Case documentation.
- Perform code review, bug fixing, and testing for applications.
- Assist in Integration Testing and documentation required for OIS clearance.
- Optimize code and ensure adherence to bank coding standards.
- Participate in SCRUM meetings and coordinate effectively with onsite/offshore teams.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues with detailed root cause analysis.
- Apply security compliance measures for application and data security per WB OIS policies.
- Actively contribute in an Agile environment, following best practices and CI/CD standards.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft .NET Core 8 with Visual Studio 2022.
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Proven expertise in Windows/Desktop Applications (WinForms, Console Apps, C#).
- Proficiency with SQL Server 2019 – queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, query optimization, indexes, performance tuning, and data import/export.
- Strong experience in web application development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular 11, and responsive UI design.
- Experience with Entity Framework 4.0+, ADO.Net, and Entity Data Models.
- Skilled in RESTful services development and integration.
- Strong knowledge of application performance monitoring and optimization.
- Experience in configuration management, release management, versioning, and build process.
- Proven expertise in Azure DevOps (VSTS) for CI/CD pipelines and version control.
- Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Desired Skills/Abilities (Nice To Have)
- Experience in system migrations and third-party customizations.
- Experience interfacing .NET applications with SAP (SAP JCO connector).
- Familiarity with mobile application development using any SDK.
- Experience in SLA-based service management and tools like ServiceNow, JIRA.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and project tracking.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with .NET Core (v6 or later), C#, Visual Studio 2022, and SQL Server 2019.
- Strong background in enterprise application development, performance tuning, and data management.
