Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Discovery & Service Mapping Consultant 📍 Location: Remote (India – Chennai preferred) About the Role We are looking for two experienced ServiceNow consultants to support its ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping efforts. This role will collaborate closely with global teams to build and maintain a robust configuration management database (CMDB) and service maps for critical enterprise applications and platforms. Scope of Work Execute end-to-end Discovery and Service Mapping for, Time-Critical Enterprise Platform applications and their dependencies, Non-Time Critical and core applications hosted both on-prem and in the Cloud Perform sessions with platform and application teams for information gathering and validation Explore event-based discovery from AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and VMware Use APIs and event payloads to automate CI attribute updates Troubleshoot and resolve Discovery/Mapping errors, update patterns, and create new ones Identify and map critical services like identity management, authentication, and custom services Validate mappings with technical teams and obtain formal sign-off ✅ Skills & Experience Required 6+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping Proven track record in mapping 20+ large-scale on-prem and cloud applications (e.g., Azure AD, SharePoint, Mulesoft, Apigee) Expertise in Cloud Discovery (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud) Strong grasp of application and platform dependency mapping Intermediate Windows and Unix server administration skills Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, REST), and credential stores like CyberArk Familiarity with technologies like WebSphere, IIS, Apache, VMware, MQ, Load Balancers, and DBs Proficiency in scripting formats such as XML and JSON Excellent communication , stakeholder management, and independent problem-solving skills Show more Show less
