About your Job:

As a Full stack developer in GenAI Platform team, you will be part of TDK AI Center. In this role you will build intuitive, secure, and scalable web applications that deliver AI/ML insights across TDK’s global manufacturing and business operations. You’ll own features end-to-end—frontend, backend, APIs —collaborating with a diverse international team to ship high-impact capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop responsive, accessible UIs and reusable components that surface clear, actionable insights.
  • Deliver end-to-end full-stack features across frontend, backend, APIs and data layers.
  • Build interactive dashboards and data visualizations; integrate or embed BI tools as needed.
  • Design and implement REST/GraphQL services and integrate with MES/ERP/CRM/PLM and AI endpoints.
  • Enable real-time updates, notifications and alerting for operations/quality monitoring (WebSockets/SSE).
  • Apply secure coding practices (authn/z, OWASP) and protect data for compliance.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, containerization, cloud deployments, testing and observability.
  • Monitor and improve performance, reliability and scalability of client/server systems.


Must-have qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related.
  • Proven delivery of production web applications (frontend and backend). Industrial/IoT/manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and ability to translate business needs into maintainable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for working with global stakeholders.
  • Ownership mindset with end-to-end accountability and bias for action; flexible with occasional travel.

Technical requirements:

  • Frontend: HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JS/TS; React preferred (Angular/Vue); state management, WCAG 2.1.
  • Backend: Node.js (Express/Nest) and/or Python (FastAPI/Django) or Java (Spring); REST/GraphQL, WebSockets/SSE.
  • Databases & caching: Postgres/MySQL, MongoDB/DynamoDB, Redis.
  • Integration & auth: API design, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, SSO (e.g., Azure AD)
  • Testing & quality: Unit/integration/E2E;
  • Security & compliance: OWASP Top 10, secrets management
  • Tools: GitHub; Microsoft 365.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, IIoT, or edge-to-cloud data flows.
  • Cloud & DevOps: /Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab/Jenkins)
  • Advanced APIs: GraphQL federation, event-driven architectures, stream processing.
  • Experience integrating SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Eloqua, ServiceNow or similar).
  • Japanese or Chinese language skills.
