Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Manage day-to-day kitchen and food service operations across campus dining facilities.
  • Ensure all meals are prepared and served in accordance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory, food supplies, and kitchen equipment to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Implement cost-effective practices to reduce food waste and optimize resources.

Culinary Services Oversight

  • Supervise and guide culinary staff, including chefs, cooks, and service personnel.
  • Plan, design, and oversee menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with nutrition, health, and food safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients and materials.

Service Excellence

  • Ensure exceptional service standards are maintained for all employees, students, and guests.
  • Manage catering services for university events, seminars, and official gatherings.
  • Address feedback and complaints proactively, ensuring continuous improvement in services.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and customer-centric service within the food & beverage team.

Experience & Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in an institutional or hospitality setting.

Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen management.
