Job Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Food Auditor/Inspector to join our team in Ahmedabad. The role involves conducting thorough audits and inspections of FBOs to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and operational protocols. The ideal candidate will have prior industry experience, relevant education, and a keen eye for detail. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with commercial teams and FBOs. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed audits and inspections of FBOs to assess compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards. Prepare comprehensive audit reports, documenting findings, non-conformities, and recommendations for improvement. Collaborate closely with commercial teams and FBOs to implement corrective actions and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Verify proper handling, storage, and preparation of food products to meet industry standards and client expectations. Stay updated on local, national, and international food safety regulations and guidelines. Communicate effectively with FBOs to provide guidance, address concerns, and foster a collaborative environment. Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and communications for internal and regulatory purposes. Identify potential risks or areas for improvement in food safety processes and recommend solutions. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field. Advanced certifications in food safety (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000) are a plus. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in food safety auditing, quality assurance, or a related role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or non-compliance issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with FBOs and commercial teams. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage extended and flexible work hours. Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records. Comfortable working independently and making decisions under minimal supervision. Work Schedule: The role requires extended and flexible hours to accommodate the operational needs of FBOs. Minimal travel is required, with the primary focus on audits within Ahmedabad.
