Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

1) Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements as per IND-AS and other applicable standards.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI (LODR), Companies Act, and other statutory requirements for listed companies.
• Coordinate with statutory, internal, and secretarial auditors for smooth audit closure and timely resolution of audit queries.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all regulatory returns and disclosures.

2) MIS & Business Analysis

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports, including key financial metrics and variance analysis.
• Provide actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes; monitor budget adherence and highlight deviations.

3) Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Monitor and enhance internal financial controls and processes.
• Drive automation and digitalization initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

4) Taxation & Treasury

• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and other statutory payments.
• Support treasury functions, including cash flow management and banking operations.

5) Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Develop the finance & accounts team.
• Liaise with senior management and external stakeholders as required.

6) Requirements

• Qualification & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a listed company environment.
• Experience in consolidation, financial reporting, and compliance with IND-AS.

• Technical Skills

• Proficient in MS-Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on experience with systems (SUN-FMS, E-Merge, Zoho Books).
• Working knowledge of SEBI, Companies Act, GST, and other statutory requirements.

• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
