Role Overview
We are seeking a Financial Analyst who can work independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong attention to detail, be proactive in addressing tasks, and take ownership of responsibilities. They must be able to address questions/issues related to applications as a Subject Matter Expert and effectively communicate with stakeholders. The candidate should also have a positive attitude, strong reasoning and communication skills, and be a team player. Good analytical skills, a research-oriented mindset, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently are essential for this role.

Qualifications
Desired Background, Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional Background: Prior experience working in an insurance company is an added advantageous.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Finance, Economics or any related field.
- Positive Attitude: Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and proactive approach.
- Analytical and Research Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of Power BI and SQL (or equivalent database tools), ETL processes, financial modeling and prior coding experience are an added advantage.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and juniors.
- Independence: Capability to handle tasks during offshore hours when US offices are closed.
- Domain Software Knowledge: Exposure to ALFA systems or similar tools is a significant plus.
Additional Information
Key Responsibilities:
- Model Configuration and Controls: Configure IFP for each model. Execute run setup and prepare controls and post-run checks.
- Data Input and Updates: Process monthly recurring input updates, including database modifications. Manage additional updates for model valuation enhancements. Perform testing and deviation analysis.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Extract daily and job compute reports. Segment records by model, project, and business unit levels. Publish Power BI dashboards with data segregations for analysis.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze run times for BU GCM and CFM ETLs. Develop visualizations to monitor metrics and identify optimization opportunities.
- Independent Projects: To work on various independent projects identified from time to time.
