Degree qualified in accountingProven Experience of Accounts payables, Receivables and reporting streams.Must have exposure to SAP, experience of S/4 Hana would be added advantage.Strong inter-personal skills and ability to communicate with customers in an assertivemannerAdditional Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax would be of added advantage.Ability to work within a teamWhat You’ll Be Doing
Demonstrate familiarity with a wide range of work procedures within the accounts and finance department, including specialist knowledge of GST, import duties, and accounting for exceptional transactions, always ensuring compliance with applicable Accounting Standards. Support the development of Finance Assistants by providing systems training and general advice as needed, despite not having direct line management responsibilities. Follow established procedures and processes within the Finance Department, while continuously reviewing and improving them to meet tighter financial reporting deadlines. Ensure more accurate reporting to senior management to support confident commercial decision-making. Take a hands-on approach to ensure timely execution of transactions, including booking vendor invoices, performing bank reconciliations, entering data into month-end packages, and regularly interacting with bankers for import, export, and routine transactions. Oversee vendor queries, banking transactions, interactions with bankers, month-end processes, and general ledger (GL) reviews. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met with reliable, accurate, and complete information.
