Financial Accountant

As a Financial Accountant at Arukash Textile Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in the apparel/textile business, where you will oversee financial activities and contribute to the company's financial management efforts. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to gain insights into the company's financial performance. - Conduct variance analysis and trend identification to support strategic decision-making. - Create financial models and periodic reports for both internal and external stakeholders. - Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to track production costs and effectively manage inventory. - Collaborate with production and procurement teams to reconcile inventory records and optimize inventory management processes. - Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and forecasts, monitor budget performance, and analyze variances for improvement opportunities. - Ensure tax compliance by accurately and timely preparing and filing tax returns while staying updated on tax laws. - Evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and accuracy, implementing best practices in accounting and financial management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred. - Possess 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within the apparel/textile industry. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and inventory management. - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with cross-functional teams. - Ability to adapt, proactive mindset, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
