Financial Accountant

Role Overview: You will be working as a Financial Accountant at Worley, a global professional services company, where you will collaborate with the existing team to deliver projects for clients and enhance your skills and experience. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate general ledger entries, performing reconciliations, managing P2P processes, identifying automation opportunities, working within a shared service center, tracking SLA metrics, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and timely GL entries - Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities - Execute bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations - Investigate and resolve discrepancies - Manage end-to-end P2P processes - Monitor and report on P2P SLA performance - Identify opportunities for automation in accounting workflows - Collaborate with digital teams to implement GenAI solutions for reporting, reconciliation, and forecasting - Work within a Finance Shared Service Centre environment - Support cross-functional teams and global finance operations - Track and report SLA metrics across finance functions - Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements Qualifications Required: - CA / CA Inter / Equivalent Finance Qualification - 3-5 years of experience in Financial Accountant role - Strong knowledge of accounting standards and ERP systems (Oracle) - Experience in a shared services or global finance operations setup - Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement - Familiarity with GenAI tools and automation platforms is a plus - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Please note that Worley is dedicated to fostering a values-inspired culture that encourages belonging, connection, and innovation among its employees.
