Job Description

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Manager, located in Bengaluru. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing accounting operations, preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Finance Manager will also play a key role in providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making and improve the company's financial performance. The ideal candidate should possess strong financial acumen, be well-versed in Indian accounting standards and taxation, and have hands-on experience with Zoho Books . This role is critical to ensuring robust financial governance, reporting accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all financial activities including accounting, bookkeeping, cash flow, invoicing, and reconciliations using Zoho Books • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes • Ensure compliance with Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities as needed • Monitor accounts receivable/payable and ensure healthy cash flow management • Create financial dashboards and reports within Zoho Books for management review • Enhance internal controls and standard operating procedures for finance • Support fundraising, cost control, and investment analysis as required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field • CA / CMA qualification preferred • Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role • Mandatory experience with Zoho Books • Strong understanding of Indian financial regulations and compliance • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Preferred Skills • Familiarity with other Zoho applications (Zoho CRM, Zoho Inventory) • Experience in tech, service, or product-based companies • Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
