About The Role
As a Digital Finance Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for global Auto Digital operations. You’ll partner closely with Value Stream leaders, Digital Product Owners, Program & Project management teams, cost center owners, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial management across both CapEx and OpEx. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys driving process improvements, and has a strong command of financial systems and reporting tools
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with functional and cost center owners to develop and submit annual budgets and forecasts to the FP&A team.
- Maintain and update budgeting models per corporate guidelines, ensuring accurate compilation, analysis, and reconciliation of financial data.
- Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring proper accounting for prepayments, accruals, and other adjustments.
- Manage monthly intercompany transactions across divisions and legal entities.
- Consolidate and report actuals on a monthly and quarterly basis, providing detailed variance analysis to stakeholders.
- Aggregate business inputs to build monthly forecasts and submit with commentary to FP&A.
- Create and maintain cost centers (CCs) and approval matrices as required.
- Support WBS creation and budget additions, particularly for the EU region.
- Report CapEx and OpEx actuals, ensuring alignment with global finance standards.
- Partner with finance teams to fulfil reporting requirements and support updates.
- Collaborate with Digital Product Owners (DPOs) and Value Stream teams for CAB processes.
- Work closely with Auto Digital Value Stream (VS) leads, DPOs, and the DTO Portfolio team during annual budget planning and rolling forecast activities.
- Collaborate with Amplify initiative owners, digital leads, and business controllers to assess and monitor ROI calculations and performance tracking.
- Drive standardisation and process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and transparency.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of budget management tools and Qlik reporting dashboards, as required.
- Apply knowledge of SAP systems to support financial operations and reporting, as required.
What You Need To Be Successful
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within an IT or technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of CapEx and OpEx financial management.
- Proficiency in SAP and other financial systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with intercompany accounting and global finance operations.
Bonus Points if You Have
- ROI calculation & tracking responsibilities.
- Familiarity with the Amplify tool.
- Hands-on experience with Qlik reporting tools.
- Knowledge of budget & CAB processes.
- Background in supporting Global regional financial operations.
What Makes You Eligible
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or CA/CPA/CMA preferred).
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, preferably in IT or Digital transformation environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
- Good knowledge of SAP.
- Experience working in a matrixed global organisation.
