Job Description

As a Sales Engineer at RS Components in India, your role involves driving profitable sales growth, exhibiting flexibility, and thriving in a fast-paced setting. By leveraging customer experience to drive business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales, executing long-term commercial strategies, and conducting market research, you will contribute to achieving and exceeding sales and key customer metrics. Key Responsibilities: - Set targets, manage costs, and enhance the average order value, breadth of purchases, and order frequency in the assigned territory. - Maximize customer engagement through effective call cycle management, prepare regular reports, maintain data integrity, and promptly address inquiries and complaints. - Identify business enhancement opportunities, provide strategic input and feedback to management. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in the industrial sector with a strong focus on direct customer interaction. - Field sales orientation, self-initiative, solution orientation, execution rigor, and excellent communication skills. - Engineering or technology degrees are preferred, but candidates with adequate customer knowledge may be considered even without these qualifications.
