Job Summary:

Export Marketing Manager


Key Responsibilities:


Export Sales & Market Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow exports of fabric and PVC-based seasonal wear in international markets.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to enhance global presence.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with international buyers, agents, and distributors.


Export Merchandising & Coordination

  • Manage the end-to-end merchandising process—from order receipt to shipment.
  • Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to global quality standards.
  • Create collections tailored to regional trends and customer requirements.


Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison for all international clients.
  • Provide proactive communication and resolve queries related to orders, shipments, or product specifications.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention through service excellence.


Pricing, Costing & Negotiation

  • Formulate pricing strategies based on cost structures, market dynamics, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Lead negotiations with international clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Monitor trade regulations, tariffs, and currency fluctuations to optimize costs.


Export Compliance & Documentation

  • Oversee all required export documentation (PI, BL, COO, invoices, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to customs regulations and international trade compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and brokers for seamless global shipping and customs clearance.


Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis

  • Analyze global fashion and consumer trends to align product offerings with international demand.
  • Conduct market research to monitor competition, pricing benchmarks, and regional insights.
  • Share strategic inputs with design and marketing teams to shape future product development.


Logistics & Shipment Management

  • Partner with the logistics team to ensure accurate tracking and on-time deliveries.
  • Troubleshoot shipment delays or customs issues to ensure smooth export operations.
  • Leverage automation tools and ERP systems for efficient tracking and reporting.


Skills & Qualifications:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, International Business, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 8–10 years in Sales, Marketing, or Export Merchandising within the apparel or PVC product industry.
  • Proven track record in handling international markets, merchandising cycles, and client servicing.

Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP tools.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
  • Deep understanding of export documentation, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of costing, pricing, and profit margin optimization.
