Executive MIS

Job Title: Executive – MISDepartment: Operations / Support

Location: Andheri (West), Mumbai

Role Overview

The Executive – MIS will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting insurance-related data for the brokerage business. The role involves preparing periodic MIS reports, tracking business performance, monitoring commissions/brokerage, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring data accuracy to facilitate management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and maintain business data from insurers, internal teams, and partners.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering:
• Premium booked, policies issued, and renewals.
• Brokerage/commission income (pending, received, and shortfall).
• Line of business-wise performance (Health, Motor, Property, etc.).
• Client portfolio analysis and business pipeline tracking.
• Reconciliation of brokerage with insurer statements and ensuring accuracy.
• Support Finance/Accounts in invoicing, GST reconciliation, and tracking receivables.
• Maintain client and policy databases for audit and compliance (IRDAI requirements).
• Generate dashboards and analytical reports for management decision-making.
• Assist business development teams with customized reports and client presentations.
• Ensure timely submission of regulatory/statutory MIS as per IRDAI guidelines.
• Identify gaps or delays in data and coordinate with stakeholders for timely resolution.
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives in MIS reporting.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, etc.).
• Exposure to MIS tools, ERP/CRM systems, or insurance broker portals.
• Analytical ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial/data reconciliation.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Business Administration.
• 1–3 years of MIS / Data Analysis experience, preferably in insurance broking, insurance companies, or financial services.
• Knowledge of insurance products and brokerage processes will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,920.82 - ₹31,120.78 per month
