Cost & Estimation Engineer (Mivan Projects)
Position: Cost & Budgeting (Quantity Surveyor)
Job Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for Mivan formwork based high-rise residential buildings.
- Analyze architectural and structural drawings to calculate quantities accurately.
- Update budgets based on design changes, variation orders, or site conditions.
- Cost Control & Monitoring:
- Track project costs against budgets and identify deviations.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor cost-to-complete for ongoing projects.
- Procurement & Contract Support:
- Assist in preparation of tender documents, bid evaluations, and vendor/subcontractor agreements.
- Verify subcontractor bills, claims, and change orders for accuracy.
- Negotiate rates with vendors/subcontractors for cost optimization.
- Mivan Formwork Specifics:
- Evaluate formwork cycles, material utilization, and labor productivity for Mivan shuttering.
- Monitor material wastage and suggest improvements in productivity or cost savings.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Generate periodic MIS reports on cost performance, budget utilization, and financial forecasts.
- Maintain proper documentation of estimates, contracts, and cost records for audits and client requirements.
- Present cost reports and recommendations to project management.
- Coordination & Compliance:
- Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and site teams for effective cost control.
- Support value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and statutory requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering (mandatory). Diploma or Postgraduate qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management is preferred.
- 3–4 years of experience in costing, and budgeting for high-rise residential or similar projects, preferably Mivan projects.
- Strong knowledge of and high-rise construction methods.
- Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, BOQs, and cost control.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills for accurate cost calculation and forecasting.
- Understanding of contracts, procurement processes, and billing procedures.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certification (RICS Mivan formwork systems, ICE, or similar) is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹540,000.00 per month
