Role Overview

Launch Ventures is seeking a talented Engineering Manager – Software Service Delivery to join our team and steer end-to-end software delivery across multiple clients and projects.

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead the delivery of mission‐critical software services across a portfolio of applications and clients. You will own the full delivery lifecycle, from architecture and development through operations, support, and continuous improvement, ensuring performance, security, and business value. The role offers the chance to shape technology strategy, mentor high‐performing engineers, and influence cross‐functional product direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery teams responsible for software services across multiple applications, overseeing delivery management, operations, support, and maintenance of critical systems.
  

• Orchestrate horizontal service lines (Infrastructure, DevOps, Integration, Experience, Data, ERP) to ensure seamless end‐to‐end delivery.
  

• Provide strategic technical leadership in engineering, architecture, automation, AI/ML, integration, and emerging technology adoption.
  

• Mentor technical leads, architects, full‐stack engineers, and DevOps squads, fostering career growth and high‐performance culture.
  

• Champion best engineering practices—CI/CD, test automation, code quality, and security—while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  

• Design and develop scalable, secure solutions, overseeing infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as serverless, API, and micro‐service architectures.
  

• Own delivery metrics, dashboards, SLAs, and reporting, translating data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  

• Build and nurture strong customer relationships, collaborating with the Client Partner to align technology delivery with product and business objectives.
  

• Manage customer expectations, supporting their product and technology initiatives and ensuring clear, transparent communication.
  

• Lead process transformation to improve operational efficiency and reduce time‐to‐value.
  

• Collaborate cross‐functionally with product, analytics, and business units to align solutions with market needs.
  

• Ensure data integrity, security, availability, and platform efficiency across all services.
  

• Stay ahead of emerging trends, especially AI/ML, and integrate relevant innovations into delivery pipelines.
  

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, non‐technical language for executive and client audiences.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
  

• Deep expertise in Infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), APIs, micro‐services, and serverless architectures.
  

• Proven track record managing globally distributed, high‐performing engineering teams.
  

• Strong command of Agile methodologies and delivering high‐quality software at scale.
  

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‐management skills.
  

• Ability to independently own complex engineering projects from concept through production and support.
  

• Demonstrated experience with metrics, monitoring, SLAs, and reporting for service delivery.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  

Preferred (Nice‐to‐Have) Qualifications

• Hands‐on experience with AI/ML frameworks and integration into production systems.
  

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  

• Background in ERP or large‐scale enterprise platforms.
  

• Prior experience delivering industry‐regulated solutions (e.g., finance, healthcare, or data privacy).
  

• Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
