What You’ll Do

As a Manager, DevOps Engineering in our DevOps and Cloud Automation team within Product Engineering, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective DevOps solutions across multiple cloud platforms. You will combine technical leadership with people management, ensuring your team delivers high-quality solutions while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance on technical strategy, career development, and performance.
• Define and evolve DevOps architecture, standards, and best practices across product teams.
• Drive strategic initiatives for cloud automation, CI/CD modernization, and infrastructure-as-code across multi-cloud environments.
• Oversee the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Lead cloud marketplace strategy and automation for Teradata offerings.
• Ensure delivery of cost governance frameworks and cloud spend optimization tools.
• Promote adoption of AI agents and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and reduce operational toil.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into DevOps workflows for predictive monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated remediation.
• Build intelligent self-service platforms using generative AI to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and architecture teams to ensure DevOps practices align with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership during incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability engineering.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and guide the team in evaluating and integrating solutions to improve scalability and resilience.
• Manage team capacity, resource planning, and delivery commitments.

Who You’ll Work With

You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and work closely with product engineering leaders, architects, and cross-functional teams. You will also collaborate with other managers to ensure alignment across engineering initiatives.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud automation, and infrastructure architecture, with at least 2+ years in a people management role.
• Proven track record of leading DevOps initiatives and managing engineering teams in a product development environment.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures and multi-cloud deployments.
• Strong experience in architecting CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Proficiency in Python, Terraform, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc. ).
• Deep understanding of cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
• Experience developing and integrating generative AI solutions to automate DevOps workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to inspire, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
