Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Delivery & Project Management

• End-to-End Delivery:

  Own the delivery of software projects from conception to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and quality standards (SLA/KPIs).

• Agile Leadership:

  Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies; facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure team velocity and efficiency.

• Architecture & Quality:

  Collaborate with Architects to make high-level design choices and technical standards. Oversee code reviews, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and technical debt management.

• Risk Management:

  Proactively identify technical risks and project bottlenecks, creating mitigation plans to avoid client escalations

2. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Client Partnership:

  Act as the primary technical point of contact for global clients (US). Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Reporting:

  Provide crisp status reports, metrics (velocity, defect density, etc.), and financial health updates (billing/utilization) to senior management and clients.

• Growth:

  Identify opportunities for account mining and technical value additions to expand the scope of work

3. People & Team Management

• Talent Development:

  Manage a team of 10–20 engineers (Developers, QAs, Leads). Conduct performance appraisals, 1:1s, and career pathing.

• Hiring & Retention:

  Assist in recruitment efforts for the team and implement strategies to retain top talent.

• Mentorship:

  Foster a culture of continuous learning, guiding the team on new technologies and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience:
• 10 to 15 years years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a dedicated technical project lead / management role for an IT services company.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering projects for US/North American clients.
• Experience managing projects that involve AI/ML, Data Engineering, Cloud-native applications, Workflow automation, or Digital Transformation.
• Technical Skills:
• Any programming and database skills is must. Preferably hands-on
• Familiarity with modern software development life cycles (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is must.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in a scaling, AI-first or product engineering focused company.
• Advanced certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, AWS/Azure/GCP Project Management or Technical certification).
• Experience with advanced tools for project management, collaboration, and reporting (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project).
